Yes, neither xRes nor Extreme 3D has been updated for quite some time. Both
xRes and LivePicture were very useful for quick manipulation of high-res
print images, but people kept throwing RAM at Photoshop. ;-) Extreme 3D
was very advanced and speedy, but all 3D applications have had difficulties
over the last few years.

You can still find information about xRes and Extreme 3D on the Macromedia
website... on the main Support page, look at the tiny links at the bottom
of the page, rather than the larger icons for current tools.
