Yeesh, I have an apparent problem. Actually, two, I think, though they may
be the same problem, somehow ...

I'm using Communicator 4.05 on a Mac.

(Heh, that's a problem in and of itself ... :-) )

---

Problemo Numero Uno:

When I select Flash Player as the application I want Communicator to use to
handle swf files, the only option I have available for file type is "TEXT"
-- "SWFL" is grayed out. Eek!

And here's the weirdest thing, to me: if I select Flash 3 Player as the
application to handle *FutureSplash Player* (spl files), the "SWFL" option
IS NOT grayed out. Go figure.

---

Problemo Numero Dos:

Regarding the above, if I leave the file type as TEXT, OR if I select "Save
to disk", OR if I select "Unknown: prompt user", I *don't* get the
appropriate results -- instead, I get a broken link icon. And BTW I know
that the movie that I'm testing this with is NOT protected from import,
'cuz I created the whole deal, and I just re-exported and re-uploaded to be
sure. http://home.ptd.net/~unique/leafmovie.html

---

Not immediately being willing to attempt seeking advice or support from
Netscape (ha, have ya ever *tried* that route?! ;-) ), I'm asking for help
*here*. Anyone ever see these problems, and know what the deal is?

TNX,

Ken Sherwood
