FLASH: Newbie ??

Hello All


I'm going to ask a real basic question and hope you will be kind.


I'm making a heirarchical menu and want the level 1 button onClick to activate

a movie and fade-in a series of level 2 buttons. When the action has stopped I

want the screen elements to stay static. I set a stop in the actions line for 

the movie but the level 2 buttons re-fade with each click. 


I am confident the fix is straight forward but I will need it explained in 

accessible language.
