I think this person makes great points! Really.
I certainly hope that all of us who love Flash (and I mean "love") can
accept criticism and allow people to offer viewpoints that we may not be
privy to otherwise. I think there are lots of pros, as well as cons, to
using a lot of Flash on a web site.
I think some of the biggest complaints about Flash are not actually aimed at
the technology, but the content people use it to make. That said, it's just
a creative tool that can be used in many, many ways. I would go out on a
limb to say that it's not being used for all of thw ways it could be.
So, not to sound preachy, but I personally welcome criticism of Flash, the
web, design and such. If we were surrounded by clones of ourselves w/o
differing opinions, there would be no impetus to evolve or change.
