FLASH: difference in playback speed - flash player vs. browser?

has anyone noticed a difference in a flash movies playback speed when

seen in flash player compared to the movie in the netscape (and other)

browsers?


I have noticed a considerable slow down when viewing a movie (15 fps)

on a G4 450.


the movie plays perfectly in flash player, and really slows down in netscape.


it's not a loading issue, because i am running it locally.


anyone have any ideas? solutions?
