Hi David,
There are 2 ways you can go about this:

1- Use the Alpha transparency in Flash. Make some text as a Library item
then drag on stage. Double click symbol click on color effect tab and select
Alpha and have fun.

2- My personal fav is to do this with Freehand via the lens fill. Try
sometime I think you'll agree it rocks.

Cheers,
Michael

Subject: FLASH: Text transparency in Flash???

One of our designers wants to incorporate transparent
text into a flash project we're working on. Problem
is, I don't know who, or if this is possible.

You can get an idea of what he wants to do by
visiting:

Is this possible?

Thanks,

David Sparks
