We don't have specific TechNotes about Flash and C++.  But, we do have a

list of methods supported for communicating with the Flash Player ActiveX

control:

This should help you with this in regards to C++, or VB as well.


I would also recommend OpenSWF.org, as well as the Open SWF newsgroup.
