You can also use "If Frame is Loaded" to see if the last frame is loaded.
If so, you can assume the movie was downloaded previously (unless it's a
tiny movie) and can play an alternate logo. Or you can use a random
function, but that won't guarantee a new logo each time.

I agree cookies are a pretty good way to go. Of course the user must be
configured to accept them.
