>>>I agree cookies are a pretty good way to go. Of course the user must be

Cookies:
Netscape users ONLY:

This has become pretty well known as well. Cookies write to the Cookies.txt
file under the Netscape directory tree. I personally do not like
cookies....some people are bad people. Of course if I turn off cookies,
every site I go to will continue to pound me to accept the cookie...which I
do not, and in return they thank me by kicking me off their site.

Work around:
Delete the Cookies.txt file and create a Cookies.txt "folder" in it's place.
The site thinks the cookie was received, but the computer won't let it write
to the "folder" and just deletes the thing not knowing what else to do with
it.

I browse cookie free and invisible.

IMO Cookie are not reliable. ;-)
