I'm assuming that the artwork you are usig is cropped with a transparent
background, if this is not the case then this may not apply. When I was
doing a project where I needed something other than the rectangular box
shape that the bitmaps seem to want to default to, I simply made the
artwork into a symbol or MC and within that symbol broke it apart and
selected the background with the magic wand tool and deleted it. It can
help to save the image from your graphics editing program with a similar
background color to what is in your flash movie because there is some
dithering involved (if anyone has figured out how to save an image with no
dithering please let me know, if it's possible I'm sure it is something
simple)
