Ilia,


By having a Flash movie and a Shockwave-Director movie going at the same

time will bog down your processor.  If there are lots of things going on in

each movie, that will make it even slower.  Usually, running the Shockwave

for Director plug in takes up a significant portion of memory and having a

Flash movie (with interaction going on especially) running at the same time

makes this memory need higher.


Maybe try stalling the Flash movie or slowing it down significantly when it

comes time to launch the .dcr...  If you need to have both going at the

same time I figure the best thing to do would be to limit one or the other

as much as possible to reserve the processor for the one needed most.

However, on many machines out there I assume that there will be problems

and crashes as the processor/memory requirements will be high for running

both.
