Hi all,


Wimple - Woman's head covering generally for outdoor protection that

consists of a cloth that is arranged around the head, cheeks, chin and

neck leaving only the face exposed. It is worn under a hood, veil or

hat. It is typically white linen for nuns. It was part of the standard

dress for Ladies of the Medival era. They are still widely worn in the

moslem countries (bushniqah).
