I don't have the time to look at the site so may be wrong about this.
If the art is text then there are some real good tools that can make some
gif files that are real small (under 10k) and then made into a flash file
and be greatly reduced.
Ex:
I made a 32bit logo for my site that revolved(9.3k) and then
exploded(20k) with mostly Xara3D 2 and then made it into a flash file and
was shocked (heh) at the size(12.6k), of course I later lost the file and
have only been able to make the same thing at 17k, but thats still small
considering the quality.
If its not text then they probably used Corel Draw like you thought.
