MIME is set on the web server and sends a message to the browser to let it
know what type of content is being delivered (in this case, .swf).
Netscape needs that info; IE doesn't. To learn more about it, and how to
check if MIME is set, go to:
http://www.macromedia.com/support/flash/ts/documents/mimetype_check.htm


If the clock is freeware I'd love to have a copy. Can you send the source?
