A bitmap as a background, if it's not tweening, should not slow down your
other tweening all that much.
Why not use a vector logo created in Flash? It's not a complex image.
If this is about drum, why not use a more complex drum pattern? MIDI would
be fine for this. Put MIDI in a separate HTML document called up in a
separate HTML frame. Give the user a Flash button that loads and unloads
the HTML with the MIDI, so they can turn the sound off.

Also, turn off movie looping by inserting a frame action "stop" in the last
frame.
