True enough, you can't synchronize the SWA file to the SWF file, but
this should not discourage people from using SWA files.
There are various reasons for this :
- Most of us have Director, I think.
- SWA files offer a very good way for serving sound bytes
- Flash and Director can talk to each other via FSCommand

So if you want synchronized sound with non interactive Flash2 use
RealFlash, if you have sound events that can't be 'midified' and are
rather long, use swa (e.g.. background music with voice overs), smaller
sound events such as 'snap' and 'crackle' can be popped in the flash
file.
