If a site asks your browser whether it has a plugin, then IE/Mac cannot
tell JavaScript what it can do. The Microsoft browsers do not usefully
support the navigator.plugins JavaScript property.

Rephrased, if a site's browser detection is set up to only show a browser
what the browser says it can handle, then the IE/Mac browsers will not see
interesting material on that site.
