use the tell target action within your movieclip. in the "target" field
type .. this will instruct the clip to look at the main movie, after
tell target, you can add actions as usual i.e, tell target, goto frame
6, end tell target
hope that helps

Subject: FLASH: Targeting a scene

I'm trying to put a GOTO action in a button inside a movie clip.
Why
can't I jump it to another scene? Am I missing something really basic?
TIA,
