FLASH: plug-in script

hi  I'm new to this list after a break of some time but I was hoping I might get some help with the plug-in script for loading movies into a page.


basically I've got everything sorted except when I load the page in a version of IE5 which hasn't got the plug-in installed it tries to download it immediatly. Now I guess this is due to the CLASSID and CODEBASE parts of the object tag. My question is can i omit these pieces of the plug-in script to try and stop this automatic d/loading occuring?


At the moment I have 2 pages one with flash and one without. All the redirects work seamlessly except for this. 


any help would be appreciated.
