Thanks for being willing to have a look at my movie with the preloader...

Yeh, even though I posted my movie online, I realized you wouldn't be able

to tell much from the SWF file...in fact, I'm gonna sort thru the FLA

before I show you or the list. I looked again at what I have and compared

it and figured that there are things I don't understand about your

preloader...


I have a few questions for you and  I'm sending them to the list also,

since it might help someone else.

First, thanks again for the tutorial page you put together about your

preloader.


My confusion is in how best to set this up. I'll explain about my movie...

I am following what you said, with my own content...

1. I copied the  Preloader to frame 1 and put a blank keyframe in the next

frame.

2. I put a stop Action in the same frame (on the Actions layer) as your

preload MC

3. I started my content in the next frame.

4. I modified the "Quotes" MC with my preliminary content.


Here is where I have questions. In order to get all my preliminary stuff

into one MC, I combined 2 MC's that were separate ones in my original

movie. So they each had their own Tween symbol. But now I have the 'Tween

for Quotes MC'. I don't understand why I need this?  I assume this is a

tween only for the preliminary content. So do I need to combine the Tween

symbols in the 'Tween for Quotes MC'?


Why is this Tween for Quotes MC a  *movie clip* but the other tweens that

were created by  Flash in my movie are a *symbol*? (the ones that just

appeared when I created a motion tween)
