Wasted bandwidth rant. was Re: FLASH: Basic action script

Folks:


PLEASE trim your posts.


Here, below, we have a very short reply, -- "Yes you do." -- accompanied by REAMS of unnecessary text, including the "flasher is generously supported by..." blurb *4* times.


Being wasteful of bandwidth is the same as being wasteful of anything else. It uses up resources that we all depend on, and gains no one anything. 


Just because it's EASY to send the same message back and forth, over and over, on the already congested Internet doesn't make it OK.


If you *don't know* how to use your mail program to cut unnecessary lines, please read your manual or help files. If you *do* know (and everyone on the _Flasher_ list bloody should <G>), then you're just being lazy and disrespectful. 


Be considerate. Don't take more than you need.
