J, there is no way around this. Flash is always on top of non-flash html
elements.

I am building a site that uses dropdown menus across
the top. Similar to microsoft.com
I have an swf on the page and it forces itself to the
front if the drop menu intersects it. So my problem is
that the links on my drop menu become hidden behind
the swf file.
It only has to work in IE 4 and above.
