That's what I did in the Trash Can demo of the Drop Target Demo.

There are two demos I believe this effect is done in the DL version

only.

There are at least 2 ways to approach it.

Both start with getting the X and Y position of the first ball before

the change over and apply those values to the second ball. The

changeover can happen in at least 2 ways. 

One method would just make the first ball invisible while making the

other visible.

The other method would make the change over on a frame change where ball

1 is in one frame and ball 2 is in the next.
