Hi John,

I don't know if I am a little bit off-topic, but your remark on sound
included in symbols did remind me of a problem I recently had with
Flash project...(which I didn't manage to solve)

If sound playback is 'disabled' in Graphic-symbols,
is it possible to switch off the sound of the entire
swf-movie by setting the symbol property from
Movie-Clip to Graphic? And if yes, how can I do that??

The problem actually was to add a no-sound button to
the project so that the user wouldn't be bothered by
click-sounds or background humming... I thought this
feature would extend the project towards multiple purposes
so that the customer wouldn't have to use different
files on different occasions (And we wouldn't have to
build two whole swf-files that are almost exactly the
same)

If you or someone else has any suggestions concerning
this problem, I would be very happy as well...

Thanks in advance,
