I've found that when I import PNG format instead of PICT with a good 

Photoshop quick mask, the PNG comes through MUCH darker than the PICT, to a 

degree that makes me NOT use the PNG format any more. I was surprised when 

this happened, and I'm not sure why it does, but it does happen. Its not just 

on any one machine Ive worked on, but they are all admitedly Macs. It was so 

frustrating using my NT machine for Flash that I just took it off that 

machine.
