I would say you lose all right. For example I have worked with some big name
companies doing flash work that I could never show to anyone on this list
because I signed a non disclosure agreement. I would imagine that most
companies wouldn't mind if you kept a copy for a portfolio though as long as
it doesn't have anything private in it. You may even be able to get a clause
in the agreement that would allow you to use portions as well.

If one creates a Flash movie for a client do you give up the rights to
the .fla file as well as the .swf when they pay you? I have wondered
about this from time to time, but now the question has come up with
one of my sites. If you give them the fla files you would lose
control over what they did with it. What do y'all think or do about
this?
