Yes you can own one without the other ..and you should ...I was not being
technical ..I was trying to point out that the FLA and the SWF are 2 seperate
things ..they are not the same ....the on is the father and the one is the child
and in the same way if you marry a child you dont have the right to procreate
with the father just because you are married to the child.......

Get what I am saying .....technically AND logicallt they are not the same
.....if they were then why dont you just throw in your FLASH4 and your pc too
..i mean ..they all go hand in hand

You are missing the point. I wasn't asking for a techincal explanation of
the difference. They are the same thing in terms of the contractual
obligations that determine creation and ownership rights. You can't own one
without the other.
