I'm assuming you've only ever burned a disk on PC?
What you need to do is get yourself a mac, a burner and some software like
"Toast". Create two volumes on a hard drive - one for the mac side and one
for the pc side. toast then lets you burn a disk in such a way that will
sort out all of your problems.
