I think largely more action in a preloader is acheived by making a

very, size frugal movie clip or two and putting them within your if

frame is loaded loop. Or you can have several sequential if frame is

loaded loops that each contain a different small movie clip. I usually

make those kinds of movie clips with frequent checks in Control/Test

Movie or test scene, being sure to have View/bandwidth profiler and

Control/show streaming checked. You can create enough interest this way

to make the loading sequence more interesting.
