A GREAT resource for getting sounds on the web is Sound Dogs!
http://www.sounddogs.com

It's a professional retail sound f/x library, but you can buy all the sounds
you want, ala carte!
If you only need one specific sound, that's all you buy and it'll probably
cost you about a buck!

There are also little AU format samples of all the available sounds
(thousands of 'em).
If you've got a program like SoundEdit, you can downloud the AU file simply
by listening to it, save it to your hard drive and convert it in SoundEdit
to whatever format you'd like!
