Subject: | FLASH: T Tt T i MMi i n GG |

I am noticing a problem that I thought Flash could handle.
When I play my flash movie(swf) on my desktop (400mhz) as compared with my
laptop (233mhz), the movies play at different speeds. The movie plays
faster on the desktop and therefore the audio plays out and finishes just as
I expected on the desktop. Yet the laptop movie plays slower and the audio
finishes before the movie does.
Why?
I feel like the above question is quite foolish, yet there appears to be no
timing consistency at all between the two. The swf file is 378k in size.
I semi-worked out the audio background timing issue by selecting a jazzy wav
file that repeats over and over, yet the flash movie actions that I had
timed specifically to certain notes within the music are mis-qued by 30+/-
notes when I play it on my laptop. I must assume that every browser will
play my movie slightly different.
Is there any FAQ sheets or any other document that might help me with this
issue?
Daniel
