Jhon, you correction was correct. My apo logizes.
Another focus for that is loading the movie at start in its own level,
showing it in an empty frame, and after that use tell target to move it to
the correct frame.
Now my question...
Scenario
I am developing a hard interaction placce for IE, using VRML, Flash and ASP.
If I load the movie, it start with a ligth animation and after that, a java
script action show the layer with the VRML over the flash movie. After
finish the load of the VRML, you can select a few HTML and ASP pages to go.
If you choose a form completed its by ASP and placed over the flash movie,
the IE 4.0 and IE 4.01 crash down all the time in WinNT and Win95. The IE
4.01 SR1 dont crash on a few systems, but in others crash down the OS,
needing restart the computer.
That happens only if I get the page ON THE INTERNET. If I test it own my own
machine web server, all goes OK. Both server are using IE 4.01 SP1 on WinNT,
with IIS 4.0, ASP support, the flash ActiveX that comes with the Flash
Editing Tool, and CosmoPlayer 2.1.
I've found that the Cosmo ActiveX objects before 2.1 version (including 2.1
beta version) aren't compatible with other ActiveX objects in the web page,
making a few extrange behaviors on the IE, like crashing the explorer,
crashing the system, illegal operations in the Cosmo's DLLs and freezing.
It could be a bug, but im not sure if it is in CosmoPlayer, Flash ActiveX
object, IE, Win, or anywhere else... Anyone can help me?
Another question... Its posible control the CosmoPlayer via JavaScript
calling a function from Flash???
A last thing... My congratulations to the Macromedia Staff, they do a
excelent work in the Internet World Fall 98 exibition, last week in New
York. Good for all guys!!
ThanX
