FLASH: Flash sound

Howdy friends...I am trying to use sound for the very first time. I am using Sound forge to record the sound and am saving the files as wav files. The problem is that once the movie is played in the movie player/projector/ or with the plug in,  the volume is turned way down. Any idea how to fix this? ThanX in advance for your input.
