I couldn't agree with you more and with the current momentum behind linux 

which isn't waining one bit, Macromedia should take this VERY seriously. 


Sadly, I read the log of an online chat on Flash Developer dot Com where 

a Macromedia Flash Programmer said they didn't think it was important 

enough.


I have been on the Macintosh platform for 10 years now and have been 

exploring UNIX for the past two. In that time I have seen a tremendous 

leap in mindshare towards the linux environment and anyone who thinks 

that UNIX is going to stay as a geek platform with only several percent 

of the market share is sadly mistaken.
