This is a difference because you haven't learned how to use the gradient
tool in Flash. And you did not do justice to the original concept at all
in this case.
Note, I could create a vector background in Flash that would look very
similar to the jpeg background gradient. And it wouldn't have the dotted
aberations that appear in esi_left_6. Though you couldn't create an
exact copy you can make a background very similar to the original.

Looking at this work, I've noticed that perhaps *I* don't know enough about
vector usage in flash...so, I'm wonder if you (or others) might possibly
know of a tutorial that can walk me through some of the intricacies of it.
I'd be interested in learning more.
