Can't tell what you are doing wrong but of course this is possible.
The best method for help is for you to post a URL for inspection. It's a
lot easier to test the HTML in actionin this type of problem.

The simplest example of two swf files on the same HTML page is my MIME
test page. The only difference between the top and bottom Flash files is
the type="application/x-shockwave-flash" in the bottom frame and MSIE
Win 95/98/NT displays a different set of swf files.
