c'mon, with a tap dancing caterpillar on your site you can't understand a
rapping devil doll? you can't be serious all the time, anyway it looks like
you're receiving accolades from the sources that count, the professors,
scientists and trade magazines

Ah, so let me see if I have this right.

'Here you are boys and girls. You have this incredible tool
available to you where you can use your talents to inspire, possibly
even influence, tens of millions of people around the world. With the
use of Flash and the web you too can create -- in only one week -- a
cartoon skull that floats around and sings, "I'll kill you all
one-by-one", along with its little buddy, some inane little creature
that jumps around and can't wait to do it all over again.'

What's most disturbing to me is that Macromedia sees fit to feature
this waste of time. (Sorry Joe, this is my opinion.)

I created a Flash site. It took 3 months to complete. It has been
featured in Science magazine - both in print and online, in
Biomednet's HMS Beagle on-line web magazine, and The American Society
for Microbiology is recommending it as a teaching tool. I have
received email from college professors from all over the world
praising it, telling me that they are requiring their virology
students to view it for their courses. Now, several scientist are
working on getting funds to expand it to help spread AIDS awareness in
Asian countries where HIV has become a serious problem.

I submitted this site to Macromedia months ago. So far it has been
flatly ignored.

Go figure. (I suspect it is way over their heads.)

I'm not bitter, just very afraid.
