Subject: | FLASH: Viewing site locally (javascript issues) |

I'm creating a local copy of our site so sales folks
can run a demo/walkthrough on their laptop (w/o
dial-in)... I'm running into a slight problem though.
We have javascripts that open a new window for certain
sections and I need to duplicate this. The problem
isn't the script, but the location of the page it's
opening.
For example: I point to "c:\webpage\new.html" well
that's great in the code and works, but what if the
sales guy installs the files to "d:\mystuff\" then the
javascript is messed up.
So far, I haven't had to hard code any paths, just
relative links. But with the new window, I *think* I
*have* to code the full path, right? Or, is there a
workaround I'm not thinking of?
I would like to make everything relative because
someday this will be on CD-ROM and I won't know what
their drive letter is all the time.
TIA for any tips!
James
