FLASH: Ultimate PreLoader for Flash 4

Hi all.


The first of at least 3 Ultimate Plug and Play Preloaders is now

available.


Some of you already know how much I hate 'Please Wait' or percentage

indicators. I consider most uses of them them very unprofessional. Flash

streams and most of the time preloaders are not needed or should be used

for much less of the loading time. If you do need a preloader what you

should be doing is starting the experiance of your site with preliminary

content and not making it obvious to your visitors that they are

waiting. If the wait is likely to be long then a load indicator is OK,

but it should be secondary to preliminary content.


Even though Flash streams sometimes it is neccessary to provide a

preloader for your Flash content so you can provide a seamless streaming

animation. For that purpose we offer the first 'Ultimate Flash 4

Preloader' so you can provide preliminary content easily instead of

having your visitors look at your "Please Wait" message. No matter how

cute your 'Just a minute' preload animation is -- it is not the same as

providing content and it shows your visitors that you don't mind making

them wait.
