I think the way the site works is great. You're right though about it being
a little dark. The textures are so nice they need to be seen. My only other
comment is that you've cretaed a beautiful ambience with the interface and
the menus at both sides give it a futuristic look, but I think that the
white text that hilites the button selections in the rollover state is a bit
of a cop out and doesn't work with the rest of the imagery. As far as it
being a preliminary idea, I think your client is going to get blown away.
