While connecting to your site I got very erratic internet conditions.
Seemed to be caused by a Sprint.Net router or line that may be common.
The rate was 33K bps most of the time but slowed down to about 1.8 K bps
on one attempt. With speed like that where there is little flow of data
at times preloading everything is recommended.
Also the MIME is not set onn your server when leaving your Flash page my
Netscape 4 browser crashes every time.
See ---> http://www.FlashCentral.com/Tech/Server/Index.htm
Until you are sure the internet problem is solved I would preload
everything and if the connection stalls it will stall in the preloaded
and they will just keep getting the random text.
You need to contact your server administrator on both the MIME and the
intermittent internet condition so they try to find out where the
problem is and submit a repair order (probably to Sprint.net).
Once you are sure you are over the web problem try setting the preloaded
at about half (250) and that will probably be about right. It seems you
are using streming sound, if you do not need exact sync then you can use
Event sound and save a lot of bytes which works great if you are using a
preloader.
