First I want to say thanks for your offer, I feel like I've hung myself out
to dry with this...... of course I told the client (actually his business
manager, since I am working through him) we can do Flash, no problem. HA!

At this point we are still in the "talking" stage and I don't have tons of
information about the actual web site. Here is what I know...

*They don't want a typical fan site
*The actor wants to have a large section of the site promote his country of
origin
*They like these flash sites for the actor intro... of course they don't
want to copy them but they sent me these URL's as a couple of examples of
the general idea of what they are looking for:
http://www.cartier.com/
http://www.kablink.com/

For the other part of his site (the part about his country) they liked:
http://www.vrlx.com/

Now on my computer this site didn't do much other than the "golden" small
pix at the top was a movie, however I think what they are talking about is
when you click the link that says "enter VRLX" which is on the left of the
screen. This link leads to a rather elaborate movie... I'm going to guess
expensive!

So they don't want the entire site in flash just these two areas (at this
point, I think a lot will depend on the price). I don't have the job yet,
but they are looking for a starting point on Flash work and at this point I
can't even give them that.

Maybe you can help me ask them the right questions! I of course can figure
out the html and plain graphic portion of the job but the Flash part.... I
don't even know where to start. I am just a local web/graphics designer on
Cape Cod. How I even got considered for this job is just one of those weird
coincidences that sometimes happen in life - a right place at the right time
thing.

Although I've been asked not to publicize the actor yet but he is a regular
cast member on a night time network TV series. He has done a few movies as
well.

Thanks for any help you can give me.
