Subject: RE: FLASH: Stopping movie clip from looping?

Add a stop action to the last keyframe in each movie clip (or at whatever
key frame you want them to stop at) and publish the movie to loop. The movie
clips will play through once, *as long as they existed in the first frame of
the movie*. If they aren't in the first frame of the movie, as the movie
loops it 'reloads' the clips and they play from the beginning of their own
timelines again. To hack round this, rather than let the main timeline go
right back to the beginning, use an action to tell it to go to a frame where
the clips were introduced. A better solution that gives you more control
would be to have all the elements as movie clips.

...I want my main scene to keep looping and I've put movie clips (symbols)
that stop looping in the appropriate places and I've gone into my publish
setting and tried variations of loop, don't loop etc but all I can seem to
do is to either get the WHOLE MOVIE to loop continuously or the WHOLE MOVIE
to stop looping.
