Yes, this is true. SWFs made in LiveMotion don't tend to import well into
Flash. I'm not sure why - SWFs made by other programs don't seem to have
this problem.
I dunno what file types you can export from LM, but if you can export AI or
EPS, that might be an alternative. Keep in mind that you may lose some
raster effects in the process.
