FLASH: draggable movie clip monster menu

I'm making a "build your own monster" halloween card, something like 

the Eggplant sample that comes with Flash.


I made pop up menus of parts; "eyes" "mouths" etc..  When you drag 

one onto the monster, on release there's a duplicate MC action that 

copies it to level1. This makes it stay where it is when you go to a 

new pop up menu. It works pretty well 90% of the time, but sometimes 

the "on release" actions don't execute. The MC sticks to the mouse, 

or the stop drag happens but not the duplicate mc, so that when you 

go to the menu, the dragged part disappears.
