Here's a tip i picked up via www.turtleshell.com (there's a tutorial there
on switching on and off soundloops). Put all your sounds in their own
movieclips. Have 2 keyframes in each clip with stop actions on both. In
frame 1 put your sound with sync set to 'Event' and set the number of loops
to some ridiculous number like 9999 (quick statistical interlude...with a 2
second sound set to loop 9999 times your user would have to listen for about
5 and a half hours before it would stop). In frame 2 have the same sound
with sync set to 'Stop'. When you want the sound on, target the first frame
of the clip. When you want it to stop, target the second frame.
There's loads of resources and tutorials out there for preloaders. Try the
Macromedia site, www.flashkit.com, www.moock.org etc etc.

I've been trying to iron some things out.
1. As you will notice, there is a looped song when you first start. There is
an option at the bottom called "NEXT SAMPLE". This will take you to the next
looped song, however, the first one (which is set to loop 10 times still
plays over the next. How do you get the loop to stop playing when you go to
the next one???
2. I haven't figured out a good LOADING code for this. It loads the page and
graphics, but not the bigger things like ths sounds. I need EVERYTHING to be
loaded before it begins.
Any suggestions for either or both of my queries???
