Subject: | FLASH: MAJOR flash problem |

I am a seasoned Flash designer, but suddenly ran into a terrible elementary
technical problem. It started a few months ago with a project using Flash
4. The easy process of dragging a symbol from the library to the "stage"
just stopped working. I can no longer perform this simple task. I've been
using flash for several years, and have never come across this problem. I
know I'm not trying to drag an object to a locked layer, and I also made
sure that the "stage" window was highlighted, or activated. I'm beginning
to think it is a problem with the OS maybe??? I've uninstalled the program,
reinstalled it, yet no luck fixing the problem. I've recently installed the
most recent FLASH 5, it seemed to work at first, but now that is doing it
to!!!!!!! What the heck is going on??? Any one ever hear of such a
problem?
Here is my setup: Bronze Powerbook G3 400mhz, 192MB Ram, and OS 9
Such a dumb little problem makes it nearly impossible to create a flash
movie, since dragging symbols onto the stage is the only way this thing
works! As I drag a symbol, it shows the window being highlighted, as if it
knows the action I'm performing, but simply doesn't drop the thing in.
I am at a standstill on all my projects till this problem is
resolved.....PLEASE HELP ME!!!
Thanks,
Kevin
