Thanks to everyone who assisted me on the subject and again sorry for the

OT.  


It took me a while to check out all the resources I received.  2-pop seems

like a great one.  I'm probably going with FCP and the Sony converter box

because of the reasons that were suggested and that it will maintain time

code and LANC support.
