Subject: FLASH: Movie size v. window size
From: Richard

Hi there

>From an HTML link I'm targetting a new browser window into which a Flash
movie is embedded.

The movie dimensions are 750x500 and I don't want the movie to be scalable
so I set the parameters of the new window to "resizable=no".

The Flash movie is a photographic gallery so I don't want users resizing the
window and distorting the resolution of the bitmaps contained therein.

If I set the dimensions of the popup window to 750 x 500 does that refer to
the inside dimensions? Or do I need to take into account the browser chrome
etc etc/

While I'm at it, how should I set the SCALE parameter for the Flash movie if
it is to be embedded into a non resizable window? Does it matter?

Cheers

Richard
