FLASH: RE: Flash 4 Alpha Problems

I recently did some rushed Flash for a university based web society

holding/sign-up page. It involves some vectorised video interspersed with

gratuitous flying text. You can see it at www.websoc.org


I made the flying text as movie clips, putting these and my vectorised self

into the base scene 1 timeline.


Anyway, the problem was that one of the text movie clips wouldn't work

properly. Though the first two had smooth alpha and motion tweening, I

couldn't even get the third one to antialias, let alone animate smoothly.

The timeframe left me giving up and putting in what I could. 


I was just wondering if anyone else had had similar problems, and had worked

out a solution?


As a sideline, it looks like I may have inadvertently found the way to do

the rough aliased text everyone was talking about last week...
